Click2Houston reports that HPD Lt. Ali said officers were called around 3 a.m. yesterday and found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg. Investigators said the shooting followed an argument that began inside a nearby facility and continued into the parking lot. Lt. Ali stated the suspect fired about 10 shots, with the victim struck once.
North Freeway corridor has seen similar violence
The service road along the North Freeway has been the site of multiple recent shootings and officer-involved incidents, raising safety concerns along this section of I-45. In December, pre-dawn gunfire left two people injured, and a late-December bar fight near Crosstimbers resulted in a security guard being hospitalized, ABC13 reports.
