A fatal shooting in Dallas has sparked an investigation after a man was shot and killed last Saturday. According to the Dallas Police Department, officers were called to the scene in the 7400 block of Hunnicut Road following a shooting call around 9:30 p.m. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Anthony Turner, a 30-year-old man who was fatally shot after he allegedly pointed a gun at another individual.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded and pronounced Turner dead at the scene. As of now, the details leading up to the confrontation and subsequent shooting are shrouded in ambiguity, with a grand jury referral in progress to untangle the events of that evening. The Dallas Police Department has stated that their investigation is active and ongoing under case numbers 008397-2026 and 008546-2026.
