A tragic incident unfolded on Interstate 75 in Bloomfield Township, Michigan, last Friday. A rollover crash claimed the life of a 45-year-old man from Davison and left an 18-year-old man with serious injuries. The accident took place near South Boulevard just before 10 a.m., as reported by CBS News Detroit.
The Bloomfield Township Police Department responded to the crash around 9:55 a.m., and both occupants were taken to Trinity Health Oakland Hospital. The passenger later died from his injuries. The department’s Traffic Investigation Unit is actively investigating the cause of the crash, according to Audacy.
Authorities have not released the cause of the crash. The Traffic Investigation Unit and South Oakland County Crash Investigation Team (SOCCIT) are investigating, with assistance from Auburn Hills and Troy police. Witnesses are urged to provide any information that may help the investigation, according to Oakland County 115.
