The Metropolitan Police Department announced an arrest in a 2023 homicide case, identifying a suspect in the shooting that resulted in the death of 36-year-old Little Price Jr. of Bladensburg, MD. According to an MPD release, the arrest occurred yesterday following an extensive investigation that spanned several years.
The incident took place on May 20, 2023, when Seventh District officers responded around 8:05 a.m. to the 3400 block of Stanton Road, Southeast, following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, Little Price Jr., who was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel. Nearly three years later, the Metropolitan Police Department announced that an 18-year-old male, who was 15 at the time of the incident, has been charged with First-Degree Murder while Armed.
Officials with the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force took the suspect into custody at the DC Jail under a DC Superior Court custody order. He was booked and returned to the custody of the DC Department of Corrections, representing a notable development in the case.
