
The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Cynthia Johnson, 39, who has been missing from the Woodingham Drive area since January 9. She was last seen leaving her home. Johnson’s caregiver reports that she has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
Johnson is 5’4” and 168 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black coat, black hooded sweatshirt, and black boots, ClickOnDetroit reported.
In addition to local law enforcement efforts, Detroit’s Missing Persons Unit has launched a social media campaign to find Johnson. The department asks anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact them.
The police department’s 12th Precinct is leading the investigation and can be reached at 313-596-1140. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP, as confirmed on the department’s Facebook page.
