The award, which signifies the City's aptitude in managing taxpayer dollars and optimizing cash flow, was presented in partnership with the National Association of Counties (NACo), emphasizing the City's dedication to fiscal responsibility and transparency.
Presented annually by three+one®, the award requires a cashVest score of 90 or above for four straight quarters, and in doing so, the City of Dublin has proved its skill in effective cash management. "This recognition reflects our commitment to strong financial stewardship and transparency," Chief Financial Officer/Director of Finance Matt Rubino said, as reported by the City of Dublin. With this achievement, Dublin continues to build a legacy of prudent fiscal strategies that significantly support the services and investments made in the community's interest.
The accolade not only champions Dublin's superior financial strategies but also aligns with its other fiscal accolades, such as earning the GFOA Triple Crown Award for the fourth time in a row. According to Matthew Chase, CEO/Executive Director of NACo, the award recipients, such as Dublin, "have demonstrated outstanding leadership in liquidity management to optimize cash flow, lower borrowing costs and strengthen protections for public resources," according to the City of Dublin.
