
In celebration of National Soup Month, the City of Dunedin, Florida, is hosting a Garden Soup Workshop. According to a social media post, the event will take place on January 28 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Senior Hale Activity Center. Participants will learn how to grow ingredients such as leeks, tomatoes, carrots, cabbage, and kale.
Workshop attendees will be guided by instructor Elizabeth Faubert, in collaboration with the Dunedin Community Garden. Admission is $3 for Rec Card holders and $4 for non-members. Participants will have the chance to sample prepared dishes and receive complimentary seed packets.
Registration is encouraged by January 26, though walk-ins may be accommodated if space allows.
