The Dunedin Marina is slated for a significant makeover, with On-Point Contracting Company, LLC, now at the helm of constructing a new pier alongside day and emergency docks, as per the City Commission's decision on January 8. The old pier will be seeing its final days with demolition plans marked for March, setting the stage for the fresh structure's completion by the tail end of 2026. According to the City of Dunedin's recent announcement, Dunedin's residents and visitors can look forward to enjoying the revamped waterfront’s amenities by year's end.
BDI Marine is reconstructing Dunedin Marina’s north seawall, following a July contract, with work starting in October. The east seawall will undergo similar repairs, expected to be completed by spring 2026, strengthening the marina’s infrastructure.
