In a coordinated law enforcement effort, the Solano County Sheriff’s Office, alongside the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET), Benicia Police Department, and the FBI, apprehended a Fairfield resident on charges related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Zachary Sanders, was arrested following a search warrant execution on Wednesday at his Springfield Drive residence, as reported in a social media post by the Solano County Sheriff’s Office.
During the sweep of Sanders’ home, detectives gathered evidence leading to his arrest on multiple felony charges, including possession and intent to distribute child pornography. Sanders is now facing the consequences of his alleged actions, booked into the Solano County Justice Center with his bail set at $25,000.
