According to the Riverside Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred at approximately 9:10 p.m., resulting in critical injuries to the motorcycle rider, who was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.

The motorcycle rider has been identified as 25-year-old Marvonna Vaxter, a resident of Moreno Valley. Subsequently, an individual was arrested nearby for possession of a controlled substance for sale and a probation violation after being seen fleeing from the vehicle involved in the accident.

The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Traffic Reconstruction Team is handling the investigation into the specifics of the collision.
