
FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrest of Alejandro Rosales Castillo, who had been on the agency’s Ten Most Wanted list for over nine years. According to the FBI - Charlotte, Castillo, wanted on murder charges, was apprehended in Mexico on January 16 and extradited to Charlotte, North Carolina.
The capture was the result of coordinated efforts between the FBI and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, highlighting successful inter-agency cooperation. Castillo’s case underscores the FBI’s global reach and ongoing commitment to bringing fugitives to justice, regardless of how long they evade authorities.
