Raleigh's fitness enthusiasts may find their balance with the launch of a new yoga series at Kiwanis Park. This six-week course promises to engage participants with core strengthening exercises, stretching routines, energizing sun salutations, various poses, and periods of reflective meditation, as per the City of Raleigh's announcement.

The sessions are designed to accommodate a range of abilities, ensuring a fluid and enjoyable experience for all in attendance. Beginners and seasoned yogis alike, without prior knowledge of yoga, are welcome to join the practice. However, given that the spaces are coveted and limited, interested individuals should act promptly. The classes accommodate those who are at least 18 years of age, with a registration fee set at $48 for residents and $63 for non-residents. For bringing their mats, towels, and water bottles, participants are responsible.

Starting February 2, the classes will take place at Kiwanis Park every Monday, from 6 to 6:55 p.m. Being an outdoor venue, Kiwanis Park offers an environment that complements the practice of yoga, enabling participants to connect with nature while engaging in this age-old discipline of well-being.

As announced on the City of Raleigh's official website, those eager to reserve their spot in the class should visit RecLink for registration.
