More dense fog is expected after 2 a.m. tonight, with temperatures dropping to around 40 degrees and calm winds likely to keep visibility low, as reported by the National Weather Service.
Heading into the weekend, Friday and Saturday are forecast to stay mostly sunny with highs near 61 and 60 degrees, light north to north-northwest breezes, and overnight lows around 39 and 42 degrees. Looking ahead to Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday will be "mostly sunny, with a high near 59," according to the National Weather Service.
Patchy fog is expected to return to Sacramento Monday night into Tuesday, with daytime highs staying just under 60 degrees.
