His civic duties don't end there; Forsthoefel is also on boards serving both Operation Give Back and The Colina International School in Romania, further extending his service beyond local bounds to international ones.
Forsthoefel has been quoted on the City of Montgomery's website stating a desire to reciprocate the warmth he and his family have received from Montgomery over the years, saying, “The City of Montgomery has been so good to my family, and it is now time to give back to our great community.” His ambitions are placed in enriching the city he's called home for a decade through a "collaborative approach" to join the ranks of other city leaders.
As a resident of Storybook Acres for the past ten years, along with his wife Robin, to whom he's been married for 36 years, Forsthoefel brings a personal touch to his professional endeavor, as he enjoys local sports, from Xavier Basketball to Cincinnati Reds – and the Bengals – his engagement extends from the halls of education to the bleachers of fandom.
