Former Sweeny Fire Department Chief Timothy Webb has been arrested on multiple charges of child sexual assault and exploitation. Webb, who became chief in January 2025, is being held in the Brazoria County Jail without bond. The charges include two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, with incidents dating from August 2023 to August 2025, according to FOX 26 Houston.
Webb, a Sweeny firefighter since 2008, was arrested last Friday and charged with 13 crimes involving five minors, including two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, seven counts of indecency with a child, and four counts related to child prostitution, with bond denied due to the severity of the charges. Affected families are reeling, with one mother telling Click2Houston, "They ended up telling me that they were being sexually exploited and having to do things for money," and adding, "No child should have to endure the pain of a grown person touching them."
Former volunteer firefighter Coleman Pollock, arrested in September 2025 for six charges related to a December 4, 2024 incident, is out on bond, and authorities are investigating connections between him and Webb, including possible exchanges of explicit images of victims. The Sweeny mayor's office stated, "Once the allegations were brought to the attention of the Fire Department and the City, the individuals were placed on administrative leave as a precautionary measure," emphasizing that "an indictment is not a determination of guilt," while urging anyone with information to assist in the ongoing investigation.
