The apprehended teenager faced charges for incidents occurring in the early hours of May 18, 2025, where one victim's possessions were forcibly taken, and another victim was coerced into giving up their vehicle under threat.
The robbery, as detailed by the police, happened at around 1:55 a.m. on the 700 block of Florida Avenue, Northwest, with the suspect making away with personal property and the incident report, CCN: 25073493, was filed shortly thereafter, the carjacking followed shortly after at approximately 3:15 a.m., with the involved suspects threatening and stealing a vehicle from the 1900 block of 12th Street, Northwest, as per CCN: 25073518; the culprit was a minor aged 17 at the time of these offences. Despite one arrest being made, the investigation surrounding the carjacking remains active and ongoing.
