Frankie’s NY Style Pizza & Pasta is back in the oven game. The Georgetown favorite reopened on Monday, bringing its pizzas, pastas, and subs back to the Leander Road shopping center after a long shutdown that followed an October 2024 fire. For neighbors who had worked Frankie’s into their weekly routine, the return restores a familiar lunch and dinner standby and marks another step in the center’s slow comeback.
Frankie’s menu and hours are posted online. The restaurant’s Frankie’s NY Style Pizza & Pasta menu lists garlic cheese bread, salads, pasta entrees, pizza, and subs, and the site shows regular Tuesday through Sunday hours beginning at 11 a.m.
Manager Jeff Metalia told Community Impact the restaurant closed after damage from an Oct. 16, 2024, shopping center fire and that crews and contractors worked through repairs and permitting ahead of the reopening. Community Impact reported the business reopened on Jan. 19.
Repairs After the Strip-Center Blaze
Investigators later ruled the cause of the October 2024 blaze “undetermined,” Georgetown Assistant Fire Chief Clay Shell told Community Impact, and the fire began inside the neighboring Office Lounge before spreading to several rooftops. That damage kept multiple tenants sidelined while the 1000 Oaks Center worked through roof, electrical, and interior repairs.
Hours, Service and What’s on the Menu
Per the restaurant’s online listing, Frankie’s is offering dine in, takeout, catering, and notes delivery for larger orders. The restaurant’s Frankie’s NY Style Pizza & Pasta site is the best place to confirm daily specials, hours, or catering details before you go.
The reopening brings back a neighborhood mainstay and gives Georgetown residents one more option as other businesses in the strip center complete repairs. We will keep an eye on the rest of the 1000 Oaks Center lineup as more tenants announce their own return dates.
