In the early hours, the Franklin community witnessed a display of collaborative heroism as local fire, rescue, and law enforcement teams worked to contain a two-story residential blaze on Fred Dalton Rd. Franklin Fire - Rescue's social media post gave testament to the overnight efforts that resulted in all occupants escaping harm.
Acknowledgment flowed in the form of a grateful shout out for the swift action of the Macon County - NC Sheriff's Office. Arriving first at the fiery scene, the officers confirmed the safety of everyone involved. Running hose lines and moving equipment, they worked just as the first flames were sighted. Franklin Fire - Rescue arrived to continue the battle against the fire, acknowledging the groundwork laid by the sheriff's team.
