On December 22, 2025, Warner was arrested on two counts of impersonating a public servant, each with a $250,000 bond, according to FOX 26 Houston. The investigation began after a report in early November that someone had been unlawfully detained on the 400 block of 24th Street by a person falsely claiming to be a law enforcement officer.
Further investigation by the Galveston Police Department uncovered a fraudulent identification card and badge at Warner’s residence, and Warner’s vehicle was seized due to its resemblance to an unmarked police car, as per Click2Houston.
