Gastonia's patrol units were joined by analysts from the RTCC, who employed Flock Camera technology moments after a reported shooting incident occurred. The utilization of these real-time resources by the RTCC proved essential in pinpointing the location of the suspect's vehicle, a burgundy Nissan, and disseminating the information to officers out in the field.
Per a social media post from the Gastonia Police Department, the seamless cooperation between the RTCC analysts and patrol officers allowed for a rapid response.
