
A Georgetown teenager is facing felony charges after a drive-by shooting in Round Rock that occurred earlier this month. The suspect, identified as 17-year-old Joseph Benjamin Alvarado, was arrested and charged with deadly conduct – discharge of a firearm, following the incident that took place on the night of January 7th, as reported by CBS Austin.
According to information released by the Round Rock Police Department, multiple rounds were fired at a residence and a vehicle parked in its driveway located in the 1400 block of Meadows Drive. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in a shooting. FOX 7 Austin noted that the property and automobile sustained damage from the bullets.
The arrest took place on Friday, January 16, by the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, who later booked Alvarado into the Williamson County Jail. As the case continues to be active and under investigation, authorities have urged the community to come forward with any additional information that could aid in the investigation.
