Cole Perfetti, Luke Schenn, and Kyle Connor scored for the Winnipeg Jets, with Gabriel Vilardi contributing two assists and Connor Hellebuyck making 27 saves. The Vegas Golden Knights overcame the deficit as Mark Stone's second-period power-play goal sparked a comeback.
"Mark Stone became the fourth player in Golden Knights history to record a five-game goal streak and the stretch marks a career-high," the NHL stated. Howden tied the game in the third period, Hertl scored in overtime, and the Golden Knights prepare to host Columbus, with fans eligible for six free wings from Buffalo Wild Wings after a win, while the Jets host Edmonton hoping to break their losing streak.
