A quiet Thursday night near Cutler Park in downtown Waukesha turned tense when gunfire shattered the window of an occupied apartment, police say. Officers rushed to the scene just before 10 p.m. after neighbors reported shots fired, and crews moved in to secure the residence while evidence technicians got to work, as reported by FOX6 News.
According to FOX6 News, multiple rounds hit a window of the occupied unit, but the two people inside were not hurt. Police cleared the apartment, collected evidence and canvassed the surrounding area as detectives followed up on leads and began the search for whoever pulled the trigger.
