
Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a theft at the H-E-B grocery store on FM 2920 Road on the last day of 2021. Upon arrival, officers found that Alexys Herrin had allegedly taken $222 worth of crab legs without paying, according to a Facebook post. Herrin reportedly attempted to leave the store, bypassing all checkout points with the unpaid seafood.
The suspect was arrested and is facing theft charges, with Constable Mark Herman’s office confirming the arrest. Herrin was booked into the Harris County Jail, and her bond was set at $100 out of County Court 8. The incident is part of ongoing efforts by local authorities to address retail theft in the area.
