Acworth's dining scene just got a bit spicier with the introduction of new ownership at the much-loved Henry's Louisiana Grill. This past Friday, Mayor Tommy Allegood along with representatives from the City Team and the Acworth Business Association were on site in Historic Downtown Acworth to officially welcome Brian and Taylor Cowart, the new proprietors breathing fresh life into this local culinary landmark.
Hospitality runs deep in Acworth, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrated both a new chapter and strong community ties. According to the city’s official website, guests eagerly congratulated the Cowarts on their new venture, with local support reflecting enthusiasm for the Creole and Southern comfort food to continue under new ownership. Held at 4835 N. Main St., the event marked a transition that honors the restaurant’s legacy while embracing a renewed vision.
In the statement obtained from the City of Acworth's official press release, Mayor Allegood expressed his gratitude to the new owners saying, "Congratulations to the Cowarts and to the entire Henry’s family on this new and exciting beginning, and thank you for investing in the city."
