The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show will return to Miami Beach over President’s Day weekend, marking the first time yachts will be displayed on Collins Avenue since 2018. Premium yacht brands, including Azimut and Sunseeker, are scheduled to exhibit their vessels near waterfront hotels such as the Fontainebleau, according to the City of Miami Beach.
Mayor Steven Meiner noted that the return of the event highlights Miami Beach’s role as a global destination. According to the city’s announcement, the 85th edition of the boat show is expected to generate nearly $1 billion in regional economic impact. Event organizers stated that the Miami Beach Yacht Collection, located between 44th and 47th streets, will feature yachts ranging from 30 to 125 feet, as well as engines and premium retail offerings.
The main venues for the boat show, running from February 11–15, are the Miami Beach Convention Center and the adjacent Pride Park. Attendees will have the opportunity to view new vessels up to 49 feet, along with marine accessories, electronics, and engine displays. Additional exhibitions and boating education will be offered at the Progressive Experience at Pride Park, located across from the convention center, which also serves as a hub for shuttle services.
Andrew Doole, President of U.S. Boat Shows at Informa Markets, said the event will feature a wide range of offerings, including personal watercraft, fishing equipment, marine technology, and luxury yachts. In a statement shared with the City of Miami Beach, he noted that this year’s new layout is designed to make it easier for attendees to navigate the three event locations. Tickets are now on sale, and Miami Beach residents can access a discounted rate using a promotional code provided by the organizers.
A portion of ticket sales will support Miami Cupid Splash, a nonprofit focused on conservation efforts. The boat show is also expected to contribute $250,000 annually to public programs and initiatives in the area. To manage transportation during the event, the city has implemented measures to maintain smooth traffic flow, including keeping Collins Avenue open and scheduling drawbridge operations to minimize disruptions.
The city encourages visitors to use alternative transportation, such as the free trolley service, water taxis, and bike rentals, to move around the event venues and reduce traffic congestion. Information on parking and shuttle routes has also been provided to help attendees navigate the area more easily.
Parking will be available at the Miami Beach Convention Center and nearby municipal garages for a flat fee, with free shuttle services connecting the different areas of the show. Attendees can also use the citywide free trolley service or take a water taxi from the mainland.
