The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance from the community in locating a missing and endangered adult, James Harris, who was last seen on Thursday. According to their social media post, the 72-year-old was observed treading north along Orient Road and East Broadway Avenue at approximately 3:34 p.m.
Harris is described as having salt and pepper hair, a goatee, standing 5’8” tall, and weighing 130 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a dark-colored sweater, khaki pants, and black shoes, and was carrying a yellow plastic bag. The authorities have highlighted the urgency of the situation noting Mr. Harris's medical conditions, he is diagnosed with dementia, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder, suggesting a heightened level of vulnerability.
The Sheriff's Office is encouraging anyone with information about Harris's whereabouts to come forward and has provided the contact number 813-247-8200 for the public to share any relevant details.
