
A joint operation by Constable Mark Herman’s deputies and the Texas DPS Gang Unit led to an arrest and the seizure of drugs and a loaded firearm. The operation targeted a business on the 13900 block of Bammel North Houston Road, reportedly used as a drug front.
According to Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4, during Thursday’s raid, Jamile Grimble tried to flee through a back exit but was quickly detained by Constable Canine “Rambo Tom Ramsey.” A search of the premises uncovered marijuana, THC products, cocaine, and prescription pills.
Officials seized over 54 pounds of marijuana, 212 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 7.6 pounds of edible THC products, THC wax vape pens, and smaller amounts of cocaine, morphine, oxycodone, Xanax, and an unidentified powder. They also found 53 fluid ounces of promethazine and a loaded handgun, increasing the severity of charges due to a felon possessing drugs and a firearm.
Jamile Grimble is in Harris County Jail, charged with felony possession of marijuana, possession of a weapon, and four counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, according to Constable Mark Herman. Bond and court details are not yet set.
