Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on the evening of last Saturday at 7099 Chasewood Drive. A 30-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound seated in a silver sedan and was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics, according to the City of Houston.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Detectives D. Toledo and V. Villarreal of the HPD Homicide Division are leading the investigation, as reported by the City of Houston.
Police said a vehicle involved in a recent incident contained narcotics. Two unidentified Black male suspects fired at the car and then ran on foot. Anyone with information can contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS, as stated by the City of Houston.
