A mother was arrested and charged with reckless driving after losing control of her vehicle with her children on board. On Saturday, January 10, deputies responded to a call about a traffic hazard on the Northwest Freeway, where they found a truck that had left the roadway and entered a ditch. The driver, Alexandria Milam, was said to have been leaving a Cars and Coffee event when she accelerated quickly, resulting in the vehicle's tires squealing before it careened off the road.
According to a Facebook post by Harris County Constable Precinct 4, the children in the vehicle were fortunate enough not to have been injured. Child Protective Services was promptly notified in light of the incident, pointing to the potential risk the children faced. "Alexsandria Milam was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Reckless Driving. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 15," Constable Mark Herman stated.
