Authorities have released surveillance footage as part of the ongoing investigation into the April 2025 shooting in Houston’s South Belt area. The incident resulted in the death of 26-year-old Daylan Walker and left another man injured. According to FOX 26 Houston, the shooting occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. on April 23, 2025 near East Sam Houston Parkway South and Galveston Road.
Video released by the Houston Police Department shows a white Mercedes-Benz sedan stopping near a residence on Rolleston Lane. Two individuals wearing hoodies and masks are then seen exiting the vehicle, entering an open garage, and firing multiple shots before leaving the area. In a statement to ABC 13, HPD said officers found Walker unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.
A second 26-year-old man was also found inside the home with a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has not been publicly identified. Police said the suspects remain at large and are requesting information from the public as the investigation continues.
