The Iredell County Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Called Meeting on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Iredell County Cooperative Extension Center, 444 Bristol Drive, Statesville. The agenda includes the county’s annual opioid strategy, an update on the performance review project, revisions to the fire funding formula, and an overview of the VIPER Simulcast system.
The meeting will review the county’s response to the opioid crisis and related budget, provide updates on the fire department’s funding formula and apparatus replacement plan, and feature a demonstration of a new voice-automated dispatch system.
