The search had been triggered by concerns over Mr. Gough's cognitive health; he is reported showing signs of dementia, which added urgency to the Sheriff's Office's call to action. Descriptions provided by the authorities detailed a man 5'8" in height, weighing 155 pounds, with green eyes and white hair. His attire at the time he went missing included a plaid shirt, dark-colored pants, and glasses.
