After the fog clears, skies are expected to become partly sunny, with daytime temperatures reaching around 70 degrees and a light north breeze. Later in the evening, fog may return after 11 p.m., with mostly cloudy conditions overnight. Temperatures are expected to drop to around 54 degrees.
Tuesday is expected to start with areas of fog before clearing to mostly sunny skies, with highs near 74 degrees. Light winds are forecast to develop during the morning. The NWS says evening temperatures should remain mild, with daytime highs gradually increasing through the week. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to see highs in the mid-70s.
By the weekend, there is a slight chance of rain in Jacksonville. Saturday is expected to be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of showers. Cloudier conditions are possible overnight, with temperatures dropping to around 51 degrees. Sunday is forecast to be cooler, with a high near 63 degrees.
