At a recent Military Appreciation Breakfast hosted by SHRM Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) received the Department of Defense Seven Seals Award. The award recognizes JSO’s support for employees who serve in the Reserve or National Guard. The department highlighted the event and its commitment to these personnel in an official announcement.
The award was accepted by Angela Gaff and Derrick Holsey of JSO’s Recruitment & Selection Unit, highlighting the department’s initiatives to support the military community. According to JSO, the award reflects the department’s commitment to service members, their spouses, and dependents, serving as a symbol of that support.
The Seven Seals Award represents all Reserve components and recognizes an organization’s role in national defense.
