The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in the unsolved homicide of Julius Parrish, who was shot and killed in June 2012. Parrish, 48 at the time, was killed in a drive-by shooting near Bunche Drive and West 45th Street around 11:30 p.m. His godson survived the attack.
No arrests have been made in the case. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Unit recently spoke with Julius Parrish’s wife, who was in the car at the time of the shooting, according to a Facebook post. Authorities continue to investigate the case.
Detectives have not determined a motive for the shooting. They continue to investigate the case and believe someone may have information that could lead to an arrest. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about the night Julius Parrish was killed to come forward.
