In a coordinated bust that underscores the continued war on drugs within our city’s bounds, Jacksonville's streets are marginally cleaner today. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office took to social media to announce the arrest of twin brothers, Kenneth and Curtis White, both aged 56, who now face felony charges linked to the sale of illicit substances.
The investigation trail began in 2025, law enforcement officials received a tipoff regarding two houses on Franklin Street, one perilously close to Edwards Park, a mere thousand feet away, which the detectives discovered were hubs for peddling illegal drugs, following this tip, detectives built a case strong enough to secure search warrants, a subsequent raid on Thursday, January 15, by detectives in tandem with the SWAT Team unearthed a modest but nonetheless alarming cache of narcotics.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, their search resulted in the seizure of .3 grams of Fentanyl, 25.6 grams of Crack Cocaine, and 217.8 grams of Marijuana, alongside one firearm, all of which prompted the immediate arrest of the White Brothers as a result of the search warrants served on their premises.
In the ongoing effort to stymie drug activities that plague communities, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office encourages residents to report suspected narcotics offenses, stating, "If you see drug activity in your neighborhood, give us a call," they urge the public's involvement with the contact number (904.630.0500) to report any suspicions.
