Job seekers in Pinellas County have a chance to meet recruiters from the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office at two job fairs this week. The first is Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Job News Tampa Job Fair at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The second is Friday at the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo during the Pinellas County Government Career Fair from 1 to 4 p.m.
The PCSO is hiring both certified law enforcement officers and civilian employees. Job seekers can review openings online ahead of time. According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, “We’re hiring for certified and civilian roles.”
Positions offer benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for career advancement. Recruiters at the fairs will provide information, answer questions, and give insight into working at the PCSO. Those unable to attend can start the application process online through the PCSO careers page.
