For those living or working in Kent who've ever felt frustrated by graffiti, a pothole that's been around too long, or any other non-emergency nuisances, there's a new digital tool to make voice heard. According to a recent post on the City of Kent's official Facebook page, the KentWorks app is being rolled out as a handy way to engage with local government services directly from your smartphone.
The social media announcement from the City of Kent Government reads, "The KentWorks app lets you access information and improve your neighborhood and community by reporting non-emergency issues."
As stated on the city's official webiste, this initiative is part of a broader movement by cities to harness technology, helping citizens report on issues that affect their daily lives with the ease of just a few taps.
