A collision in Lancaster, South Carolina, on Friday last week, resulted in the death of a bicyclist. The Lancaster Police Department Facebook page reported that 36-year-old Jeffery Jewett of Lancaster was struck while riding his bicycle on Arch Street around 7:00 P.M.
The Lancaster Police Department, with assistance from the South Carolina Highway Patrol, responded to the scene. The identity of the driver involved has not been released as the investigation continues. The investigation is being conducted jointly by the Lancaster Police Department, the South Carolina Highway Patrol, and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
