Lancaster police responded to a shooting in the 100 block of South Hughes Street around 8:24 p.m. on January 15, where a man was found dead in a front yard. According to the Lancaster PD's Post, His identity is being withheld pending family notification, police said.
Police Chief Don Roper called the shooting tragic and said investigators are working to determine what happened. He urged anyone with information to contact the police, according to a statement posted by the department.
