An assault at the Garden Inn in Laurel has led to the arrest of a 30-year-old male, identified as Saatehu Mesutmen. According to an Anne Arundel County press release, Western District officers responded to the incident taking place yesterday, around 2:55 p.m., after reports of an altercation came through.
During the argument, it was revealed that Mesutmen punched, then slashed the victim with a knife, resulting in stable condition for the unnamed victim, who was swiftly transported to a local area hospital. After the occurrence, the suspect was located in proximity to the crime scene and was taken into custody, the apprehension occurring without further incident.
