The service is set to take place at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Coppell, located at 420 S. Heartz Rd.

In a gesture that speaks to Kunke's legacy of giving back, instead of flowers, donations can be directed to two charities close to his heart, according to the Lewisville City Hall. The Christian Community Action Food Pantry is one organization that helps families select essential food and hygiene items. The other is the United Methodist Committee on Relief, a group dedicated to global humanitarian aid, including disaster relief, and support for migrants, refugees, and sustainable development projects.
