
Macomb County authorities are seeking a man accused of stealing a nail gun from a local hardware store, with the Sheriff’s Office asking the public for help identifying the suspect. CBS News Detroit reports the theft occurred on December 18 in Harrison Township, where the suspect allegedly concealed a red Milwaukee nail gun in his pants and left the store without paying.
The suspect is described as a male with brown hair, a full beard, a neck tattoo on the right side, wearing a black and white baseball hat, an Under Armour hoodie, and green Nike sneakers. He was last seen fleeing in a silver sedan. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office has released a photo of the suspect and provided contact information for Detective Dibble at 586-307-8230 or [email protected] for anyone with information about the incident.
The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office appealed for help on social media, posting on Facebook in hopes that eyewitnesses or acquaintances might recognize the man in the circulated image. The Facebook post asks, “Can you identify this person?” and includes details of the suspect’s distinctive appearance and actions during the December 18 retail theft.
