
Early morning, a shooting incident in northwest Harris County led to one person being critically injured near a warehouse on N. West Lake Drive. Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported that the man may have attempted to immediately drive himself to safety after being shot at a different location before reaching the warehouse site, as shared by KPRC 2. Emergency responders swiftly responded to the call received around 7 a.m.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The critical nature of the injuries warranted the call for a Life Flight, and the man was quickly transported to the hospital for urgent care. "Life Flight was called to the scene, and the victim was transported in critical condition, suffering from a gunshot wound," KPRC 2 reported. Detectives have combed the scene to collect evidence and piece together the events that left one man clinging to life.
Adding to the severity of the situation is that an assailant remains at large.
