A grim discovery was made in Wilkinsburg, as local authorities began investigating a shooting that left one man dead last night. According to CBS News Pittsburgh, Allegheny County Police were called to the scene around 8:30 p.m. in the 700 block of South Avenue, following reports of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, officers found a man with a fatal gunshot wound to the head on the street. Although the man was pronounced dead on site, his identity has not yet been released to the public. The intersection of South Avenue and Center Avenue became the immediate focus of an ongoing investigation by Allegheny County detectives.
