Manatee County residents and vehicular enthusiasts are in for an engine-revving treat this coming April. The county government recently announced an Open House event that promises to be a hands-on experience for people of all ages. Planning to park itself on Saturday, April 18, the event will take place between 9 a.m. and noon at 1022 26th Avenue East in Bradenton. As per the social media post from Manatee County, Florida Government, attendees will "See, touch and climb on over 30 vehicles."
With no cost to enter, families can look forward to a cost-effective outing that aims to not only entertain but also to educate. From construction trucks to emergency response vehicles, the assortment will provide an up-close look at the machines that power our services and infrastructure. In addition to the vehicular display, the event will also offer free hot dogs, drinks, and popcorn, making it easier for attendees to sustain their energy as they explore the machinery.
A sentiment echoed in the government's social media announcement: "You won’t want to miss your chance to" engage with these vehicles in a way that is seldom available on regular days.
