Mary J. Blige is launching her first Las Vegas residency, "My Life, My Story: The Las Vegas Residency," at Dolby Live at Park MGM, running from May 1 to July 18, with ten shows scheduled. Each performance will begin at 8 p.m., showcasing the Grammy-winning singer on the Las Vegas Strip, according to FOX5 Vegas. Tickets for the residency will be available during a pre-sale on Wednesday and Thursday, giving fans an early chance to secure seats. The scheduled show dates are May 1, 2, 6, 8, 9 and July 10, 11, 15, 17, 18, drawing fans to experience Blige’s celebrated career live.
"I’ve been so excited to announce this Vegas residency," said Blige, her anticipation palpable in a statement obtained by News 3 LV. "Creating a show like this has been something I’ve always wanted to do. It's a chance to get my fans together from all over – different cities, states, and countries – to experience something together," she further expressed, hinting at the intimate and engaging experience fans can expect.
Blige's extensive body of work includes shaping the R&B genre with her debut album "What's the 411?" and creating anthems such as "Real Love," "You Remind Me," "Just Fine," and "Family Affair." Moreover, her talents have earned her Academy Award nominations; one for her acting in "Mudbound" and another for recording and co-writing the film's song "Mighty River."
