The Miami Dolphins have promoted Bobby Slowik to offensive coordinator under new head coach Jeff Hafley. The move follows Mike McDaniel’s departure and is part of Hafley’s early staff changes, which also included Chris Tabor becoming special teams coordinator, NBC Miami reported.
Slowik previously served as the Dolphins’ senior passing game coordinator and has prior experience with Hafley from their time with the San Francisco 49ers. After coaching C.J. Stroud’s Offensive Rookie of the Year season, Slowik was released by the Texans following the 2024 season before joining Miami to work with quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa and Quinn Ewers, according to the New York Post.
The Dolphins finished last season with 300.7 yards and 20.4 points per game, ending with a 7-10 record. Slowik will lead the team’s offensive strategy for the upcoming season.
