A 911 call came in shortly after 11:30 a.m., and first responders arrived to find a wrecked vehicle with at least one occupant pronounced dead at the scene.

According to FOX 26 Houston, officers were dispatched after a caller reported that someone had been shot inside a vehicle. Two people were inside the car when it crashed. One was pronounced deceased, and police told reporters they believe the shooter took off in a truck after the gunfire.
Officials have not released the identities of anyone involved and said additional details were not available in the initial report, leaving key questions about what led up to the shooting still unanswered.
